A FAA está adotando uma nova diretriz de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para todos os aviões Airbus SAS Modelo A350-941 e -1041. Esta AD foi motivada pela obsolescência do grampo que mantém o gerador de oxigênio no container e pela introdução de um novo grampo de outro fabricante com especificações diferentes de torque de travamento, que não foram adequadamente refletidas na documentação Airbus. Esta AD exige a substituição de cada peça afetada, proíbe a execução de ações de manutenção utilizando certas versões de um procedimento de manutenção, e também proíbe a instalação de peças afetadas. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the obsolescence of the clamp holding in place the oxygen generator in the container and introduction of a new clamp from another manufacturer with different locking torque specifications, which were not properly reflected in Airbus documentation. This AD requires replacing each affected part, prohibits accomplishing maintenance actions using certain versions of a maintenance procedure task, and also prohibits the installation of affected parts.
