A FAA propõe adotar uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para certos aviões Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Modelo PC-24. Esta AD proposta foi motivada por um relatório que indicou que um relé de estado sólido (SSR) utilizado no sistema de aquecimento do pára-brisa do lado esquerdo (LE) pode permitir fluxo de corrente reversa quando na posição DESLIGADO. Esta AD proposta exigiria modificação do avião e substituição do SSR afetado por uma peça em condições de serviço. A FAA está propondo esta AD para tratar a condição insegura nestes produtos.
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-24 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that a solid-state relay (SSR) used in the left-hand (LH) windshield heating system may allow reverse current flow when in the OFF position. This proposed AD would require modification of the airplane and replacement of the affected SSR with a serviceable part.
