SUMMARY: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900, and -900ER series airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of fuselage skin cracks found near the aft drain mast. This proposed AD would require inspection of the aft drain mast area and surrounding fuselage skin for any repair, repetitive inspections of the fuselage skin and structure common to the aft drain mast for any crack and any corrosion, and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: The FAA must receive comments on this proposed AD by June 11, 2026.
