The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain The Boeing Company Model 737-8, 737-9, and 737-8200 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a leak through the form-in- place (FiP) gasket found during a leak check. This proposed AD would require a detailed inspection of the FiP gasket at the engine fuel shutoff valve access panel for correct sealant installation, or a detailed inspection at the engine fuel shutoff valve access panel for any damage on the preformed seal, depending on configuration; a fluid leak test of the engine fuel shutoff valve access panel for any leak; and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.Documentos e Referências
