A FAA propõe adotar uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para determinados aviões The Boeing Company modelos 787-8, 787-9 e 787-10. Esta DA proposta foi motivada por um relatório indicando que, durante a produção, certas instalações de selante no tanque de combustível da asa central não receberam as inspeções visuais e de aderência exigidas. The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain The Boeing Company Model 787-8, 787-9, and 787-10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that, during production, certain sealant installations within the center wing fuel tank did not receive required visual and adhesion inspections. This proposed AD would require a detailed inspection of certain sealant installations in the left, right, and center wing side-of-body areas, an adhesion test of the sealant, and applicable on-condition actions.
