( printed page 52571) SUMMARY: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A320-251N, -252N, -253N, -271N, -272N, and -273N airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a detected deviation to the manufacturing process of the angle fitting connection to side panel skin between certain frames (FR) at a certain stringer on both left hand (LH) and right hand (RH) sides. This proposed AD would require inspecting the fastener holes to ensure they are the nominal diameter, and applicable corrective actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: The FAA must receive comments on this proposed AD by January 5, 2026.
