ACTION: Notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM). SUMMARY: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters (Airbus) Model EC 130 T2 helicopters. This proposed AD was prompted by the determination that helicopter operators received main rotor blades (MRB) that are not certified to be installed on their helicopters and thus, without instructions for continued airworthiness, cannot be properly maintained. This proposed AD would require replacing the affected parts with serviceable parts and would prohibit installing the affected MRBs on Airbus Model EC 130 T2 helicopters. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: The FAA must receive comments on this NPRM by January 2, 2026.
