A FAA propõe adotar uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todas as aeronaves da série Model 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900 e -900ER da The Boeing Company. Esta DA proposta foi motivada por relatos de instalações de calços em certas localizações de viga de suporte a viga longitudinal de piso que não foram instaladas de acordo com as especificações, e uma avaliação pelo detentor da aprovação de projeto indicando inspeções de linha de base inadequadas para trincas na viga de suporte. Esta DA proposta exigiria inspeções repetitivas para qualquer trinca nas correias da viga de suporte em certas estações e reparo de qualquer trinca encontrada. This proposed AD would require repetitive inspections for any crack of the stub beam straps at certain stations and repairing any crack found.
