ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2024-22-02, which applied to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200, -200 Freighter, -300, -800, and -900 series airplanes. AD 2024-22-02 required revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. Since the FAA issued AD 2024-22-02, the FAA has determined that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This AD continues to require certain actions in AD 2024-22-02 and requires revising the existing maintenance or ( printed page 46344) inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective October 31, 2025.
