A FAA propõe adotar uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todos os motores modelo Arriel 2E da Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Safran). Esta DA proposta foi motivada pela determinação de que são necessárias limitações de aeronavegabilidade novas ou mais restritivas. Esta DA proposta exigiria a revisão do programa de manutenção ou inspeção existente, a fim de incorporar a seção de limitações de aeronavegabilidade (SLA) do programa de manutenção de aeronaves aprovado existente (PMA), conforme aplicável. The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Safran Helicopter Engines, S.A. (Safran) Model Arriel 2E engines. This proposed AD was prompted by the determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This proposed AD would require revising existing maintenance or inspection program, to incorporate the airworthiness limitations section (ALS) of the existing approved aircraft maintenance program (AMP), as applicable.
