A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todos os aviões Airbus SAS Modelo A319-151N, -153N, -171N e -173N; Modelo A320-251N, -252N, -253N, -271N, -272N e -273N; e Modelo A321-251N, -252N, -253N, -271N, -272N, -251NX, -252NX, -253NX, -271NX, -272NX, -253NY e -271NY. Esta DA foi motivada pela ocorrência de ruptura do clipe de retenção do selo borboleta da válvula de sangria de alta pressão (HPV). Esta DA requer a revisão do manual de voo do avião (AFM) existente e da lista de equipamentos mínimos (MEL) aprovada pela FAA, permite a substituição de cada HPV afetada como ação de encerramento opcional e proíbe a instalação de peças afetadas. This AD requires revising the existing airplane flight manual (AFM) and the existing FAA-approved minimum equipment list (MEL), allows replacement of each affected HPV as an optional terminating action, and prohibits the installation of affected parts.
