ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier Inc. Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that incorrect information was found in certain calculation tables in a section of the airplane flight manual (AFM) that addresses certain slat-flap conditions. This AD requires revising the Non-Normal Procedures section of the existing AFM to provide the flightcrew with corrected procedures to use in certain slat-flap conditions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective July 17, 2025. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of certain publications listed in this AD as of July 17, 2025. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Background The FAA issued a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to amend 14 CFR part 39 by adding an AD that would apply to certain serial-numbered Bombardier Inc. Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. The NPRM was published in the Federal Register on March 26, 2025 (90 FR 13709). The NPRM was prompted by AD CF-2024-27, dated July 24, 2024, issued by Transport Canada, which is the aviation authority for Canada (also referred to as “the MCAI”).
