A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para determinados aviões Airbus Canada Limited Partnership modelo BD-500-1A10 e BD-500-1A11. Esta DA foi motivada por uma revisão de projeto que identificou espaço livre insuficiente entre as linhas do sistema de extinção de incêndio (FIREX) e determinados fixadores na área central da fuselagem média. Esta DA exige inspeção do posicionamento e espaço livre suficiente de determinados fixadores em determinadas áreas da fuselagem e viga de quilha, inspeção de danos nas linhas do sistema de extinção de incêndio e ações corretivas aplicáveis, conforme especificado em uma DA da Transport Canada, que é incorporada por referência. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A10 and BD-500- 1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a design review that found insufficient clearance between fire extinguishing system (FIREX) lines and certain fasteners in the center mid-fuselage area. This AD requires an inspection for positioning and sufficient clearance of certain fasteners in certain fuselage and keel beam areas, an inspection for damage of the fire extinguishing lines, and applicable corrective actions, as specified in a Transport Canada AD, which is incorporated by reference.
