A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para certos aviões Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A. (Tecnam) Modelo P-Mentor. Esta AD foi originada pela falha do mecanismo de travamento do assento do piloto. Esta AD requer inspeções iniciais e repetitivas dos trilhos dos assentos do piloto e copiloto, completando ações corretivas conforme necessário. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A. (Tecnam) Model P-Mentor airplanes. This AD was prompted by the failure of the pilot seat locking mechanism. This AD requires an initial and repetitive inspections of the seat rails of pilot and co-pilot seats and completing corrective action as needed.
