A FAA está adotando uma nova Diretiva de Aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todos os aviões modelo 1124 e 1124A da Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd. Esta DA foi motivada pela necessidade de garantir o status adequado e funcionamento do sistema de inversão de empuxo e minimizar a possibilidade de operação do reverstor de empuxo em voo ou antes do pouso. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd. Model 1124 and 1124A airplanes. This AD was prompted by the need to ensure proper thrust reverser system status and function and to minimize the possibility of thrust reverser operation in flight or before landing. This AD requires revising the limitations and normal procedures sections of the existing airplane flight manual (AFM).
