The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 747 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that a right-hand outboard elevator was received and installed without balance weights. This AD requires doing a maintenance records check to determine if certain outboard elevators are installed or an inspection to determine if outboard elevators have balance weights, and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.Texto Completo da Diretiva
