SUMMARY: This action amends Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface for Ahoskie, NC, by adding airspace for ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Heliport, Ahoskie, NC, to accommodate new instrument approach procedures. This action also amends the airport information for Tri-County at Henry Joyner Field Airport by updating the airport name and coordinates. Additionally, this action brings the Ahoskie Class E airspace into compliance with FAA orders. Controlled airspace is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at this heliport. DATES: Effective 0901 UTC, April 17, 2025. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Authority for This Rulemaking The FAA's authority to issue rules regarding aviation safety is found in Title 49 of the United States Code. Subtitle I, Section 106 describes the authority of the FAA Administrator. Subtitle VII, Aviation Programs, describes in more detail the scope of the agency's authority. This rulemaking is promulgated under the authority described in Subtitle VII, Part A, Subpart I, Section 40103.
