Esta ação remove a data de expiração dos certificados de instrutor de voo para alinhar com outros certificados de aviador. As emendas adicionais incluem atualizar os requisitos de renovação para requisitos de experiência recente, introduzir um novo método para estabelecer experiência recente de instrutor de voo e permitir que instrutores com uma interrupção de no máximo três meses reinstituam seus privilégios por meio de um curso de atualização de instrutor de voo aprovado em vez de um teste prático. Esta regra final também adiciona dois novos métodos para instrutores de voo se qualificarem para treinar candidatos iniciais. This action removes the expiration date on flight instructor certificates to align with other airman certificates. Additional amendments include updating renewal requirements to recent experience requirements, introducing a new method for establishing recent flight instructor experience, and allowing instructors with a lapse of no more than three months to reinstate privileges via an approved flight instructor refresher course instead of a practical test. This final rule also adds two new methods for flight instructors to qualify to train initial applicants.
