A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para certos aviões Airbus SAS modelo A350-941 e -1041. Esta DA é motivada por um relatório que durante voo e testes de fadiga foi detectado que alguns fixadores instalados na caixa de asa central (CWB) rotacionaram dentro de seus furos de fixadores. Esta DA requer a substituição dos fixadores afetados e a aplicação de proteção adicional de porca de cabeça na longarina frontal e traseira da CWB, conforme especificado em uma DA da Agência de Segurança da Aviação da União Europeia (EASA), que é incorporada por referência. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes. This AD is prompted by a report that during flight and fatigue testing it was detected that some fasteners installed in the center wing box (CWB) rotated inside their fastener holes. This AD requires replacing affected fasteners and applying additional head nut cap protection at the front and rear spars in the CWB, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference.
