ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A10 and BD-500-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of a thrust reverser actuation system (TRAS) deploy hose failure upon the commanded deployment of a thrust reverser. This AD requires removing each non-conforming TRAS deploy hose, and replacing it with a conforming TRAS deploy hose, as specified in a Transport Canada AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective January 23, 2023. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of a certain publication listed in this AD as of January 23, 2023.
