A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para determinados helicópteros Airbus Helicopters (Airbus) modelo SA330J. Esta AD foi motivada por um relato de movimento restrito da alavanca coletiva causado por contato incidental da cobertura do batente secundário devido a um rebite solto. Esta AD exige a remoção da placa do batente secundário da alavanca coletiva e sua substituição por fita autoadesiva para cobrir o suporte do batente e diminuir o risco de resistência nos comandos de voo do rotor, conforme especificado em uma AD da Agência Europeia para a Segurança da Aviação (EASA), que é incorporada por referência. A FAA está emitindo esta AD para resolver a condição de segurança insegura destes produtos.
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Helicopters (Airbus) Model SA330J helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of restricted movement of the collective lever caused by incidental contact of the secondary stop cover due to a loosened rivet. This AD requires removing the plate of the collective lever secondary stop and replacing it with self-adhesive tape to cover the stop support and decrease the risk of resistance on the rotor flight controls, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference.
