A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para determinados helicópteros Robinson Helicopter Company modelo R22 BETA, R44 e R44 II. Esta AD foi motivada por relatos de operação intermitente ou anormal do regulador de rotações do motor (RPM) (regulador). Esta AD exige inspeção da fiação do sensor de RPM do motor e instalação de um kit de fiação. A FAA está emitindo esta AD para resolver a condição insegura nestes produtos.
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Robinson Helicopter Company Model R22 BETA, R44, and R44 II helicopters. This AD was prompted by reports of intermittent or abnormal operation of the engine revolutions per minute (RPM) governor (governor).
