A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para certos aviões De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (certificado de tipo anteriormente mantido pela Bombardier, Inc.) modelos DHC-8-401 e -402. Esta AD foi motivada por relatos de um parafuso específico no link do pino de pivô sendo encontrado faltando ou apresentando trinca por corrosão sob tensão. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (type certificate previously held by Bombardier, Inc.) Model DHC-8-401 and -402 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of a certain bolt at the pivot pin link being found missing or having stress corrosion cracking.
