A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para todos os helicópteros Airbus Helicopters modelo EC130T2. Esta AD foi motivada pela determinação de que uma certa peça necessita de limite de vida útil e re-identificação. Esta AD exige re-identificar um eixo de acoplamento do motor à caixa de engrenagens principal (motor-CPA) de número de peça específico e criar um cartão de registro ou documento equivalente, conforme especificado em uma AD da Agência de Segurança da Aviação da União Europeia (EASA), incorporada por referência.
