Esta ação estabelece espaço aéreo Classe E de superfície para acomodar Procedimentos Padrão de Aproximação por Instrumento (SIAP) de Sistema de Navegação de Área (RNAV) com Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS) servindo o Aeroporto Ocean Reef Club, Key Largo, FL. Esta ação também emenda o espaço aéreo Classe E se estendendo para cima a partir de 700 pés acima da superfície para o Aeroporto Ocean Reef Club atualizando as coordenadas geográficas do aeroporto e corrigindo o descritor substituindo AL por FL. Espaço aéreo controlado é necessário para a segurança e gerenciamento das operações de Regras de Voo por Instrumento (IFR) na área.
This action establishes Class E surface airspace to accommodate Area Navigation (RNAV) Global Positioning System (GPS) Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs) serving Ocean Reef Club Airport, Key Largo, FL. This action also amends Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface for Ocean Reef Club Airport by updating the geographic coordinates of the airport and correcting the descriptor by replacing AL with FL. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Authority for This Rulemaking The FAA's authority to issue rules regarding aviation safety is found in Title 49 of the United States Code. ( printed page 3646) Subtitle I, Section 106, describes the authority of the FAA Administrator. Subtitle VII, Aviation Programs, describes in more detail the scope of the agency's authority. This rulemaking is promulgated under the authority described in Subtitle VII, Part A, Subpart I, Section 40103. Under that section, the FAA is charged with prescribing regulations to assign the use of airspace necessary to ensure the safety of aircraft and the efficient use of airspace.
