ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Saab AB, Support and Services Model SAAB 340B airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that the circuit breaker for the emergency cabin lighting tripped without fault in the system. This AD requires replacing a certain circuit breaker with a part having a higher rating, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective January 5, 2022. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of a certain publication listed in this AD as of January 5, 2022.
