This AD was prompted by a report that, during scheduled maintenance on two helicopters, cracks were found on a certain main rotor (MR) non-rotating scissor link. This AD requires replacing an affected MR non-rotating scissor link with a serviceable part. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
