A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (DA) para certos helicópteros Leonardo S.p.a. modelo AB412 e AB412 EP. Esta DA foi motivada pelos resultados de uma revisão de fadiga. Esta DA exige o estabelecimento de um limite de vida útil para certos tubos de travamento traseiros do trem de pouso de número de série específico. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AB412 and AB412 EP helicopters. This AD was prompted by the results of a fatigue review.
