A FAA está adotando uma nova Diretiva de Aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todos os aviões série Airbus SAS modelo A318; aviões modelo A319-111, A319-112, A319-113, A319-114, A319-115, A319-131, A319-132 e A319-133; aviões modelo A320-211, A320-212, A320-214, A320-216, A320-231, A320-232 e A320-233; e aviões modelo A321-111, A321-112, A321-131, A321-211, A321-212, A321-213, A321-231 e A321-232. Esta DA foi motivada por relatos de que certas válvulas solenoides de suprimento de oxigênio constituem uma fonte potencial de aumento da resistência ao fluxo dentro do sistema de oxigênio da cabine de comando. Esta DA exige inspeção detalhada (teste de fluxo) de certas válvulas solenoides e substituição, se necessário, conforme especificado nas Diretivas de Aeronavegabilidade da Agência Europeia de Segurança da Aviação (EASA), que estão incorporadas por referência. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A318 series airplanes; Model A319-111, A319-112, A319- 113, A319-114, A319-115, A319-131, A319-132, and A319-133 airplanes; Model A320-211, A320-212, A320-214, A320-216, A320-231, A320-232, and A320-233 airplanes; and Model A321-111, A321-112, A321-131, A321-211, A321-212, A321-213, A321-231, and A321-232 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports that certain oxygen supply solenoid valves are a potential source of increased flow resistance within the flightcrew oxygen system. This AD requires a detailed inspection (flow test) of certain solenoid valves, and replacement if necessary, as specified in European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) ADs, which are incorporated by reference.
