ACTION: Final rule. SUMMARY: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Polskie Zaklady Lotnicze Sp. z o.o. Model PZL M28 05 airplanes. This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) originated by an aviation authority of another country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation product. The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as defective thermo-shrinkable tubes installed on the electrical harnesses located in the fuel tanks. This AD requires a one-time inspection of the electrical harnesses located in the fuel tanks and, depending on findings, replacement of the affected harness. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. DATES: This AD is effective December 8, 2020. The Director of the Federal Register approved the incorporation by reference of a certain publication listed in this AD as of December 8, 2020.
