Essas condições especiais são emitidas para aeronaves das séries Boeing Model 737-300, -400, -700, -800, -8 e -9. Essas aeronaves, conforme modificadas pela Archeion Holdings, LLC (Archeion), apresentarão uma característica de projeto novel ou incomum quando comparadas ao estado da tecnologia previsto nas normas de aeronavegabilidade para aeronaves da categoria transporte. Essa característica de projeto é uma arquitetura de sistemas digitais para a instalação de um sistema com funcionalidade de rede sem fio e aplicação hospedada que permite acesso, de fontes internas à aeronave, aos componentes eletrônicos internos da aeronave. As normas de aeronavegabilidade aplicáveis não contêm padrões de segurança adequados ou apropriados para essa característica de projeto. These special conditions are issued for Boeing Model 737-300, -400, -700, -800, -8, and -9 series airplanes. These airplanes, as modified by Archeion Holdings, LLC (Archeion), will have a novel or unusual design feature when compared to the state of technology envisioned in the airworthiness standards for transport category airplanes. This design feature is a digital systems architecture for the installation of a system with wireless network and hosted application functionality that allows access, from sources internal to the airplane, to the airplane's internal electronic components. The applicable airworthiness regulations do not contain adequate or appropriate safety standards for this design feature.
