A FAA está adotando uma nova Diretiva de Aeronavegabilidade (DA) para todos os planadores Modelo L 23 Super-Blanik da Blanik Aircraft CZ s.r.o. Esta DA exige uma inspeção única dos parafusos de fixação do cabo de comando do leme e dos pernos das dobradiças, substituição dos parafusos de fixação do cabo e dos pernos das dobradiças caso uma trinca seja encontrada, e relato dos resultados da inspeção ao fabricante. Esta DA foi motivada por relatos de parafusos de fixação do cabo do leme trincados. A FAA está emitindo esta DA para corrigir a condição insegura nesses produtos.
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Blanik Aircraft CZ s.r.o. Model L 23 Super-Blanik gliders. This AD requires a one-time inspection of the rudder control cable attachment screws and hinge bolts, replacement of the cable attachment screws and hinge bolts if a crack is found, and reporting the inspection results to the manufacturer.
