A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para certos aviões Boeing modelo 777. Esta AD exige uma verificação repetitiva do sistema de indicação da quantidade de combustível (FQIS) para a quantidade de combustível do tanque de asa central (CWT), o desenvolvimento de um processo para fornecer documentação à tripulação de voo comprovando que esta verificação foi realizada, e a revisão do manual de voo do avião (AFM) existente para incorporar procedimentos de verificação e conscientização da tripulação de voo. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Discussion The FAA has received reports involving discrepancies between the airplane FQIS, specifically the CWT fuel quantity, and the refueling truck uploaded fuel amount, followed by a FUEL DISAGREE EICAS message at an early stage of flight ( e.g., within 3 hours after take off), and/or with an INSUFFICIENT FUEL EICAS message.
