A FAA está adotando uma nova diretiva de aeronavegabilidade (AD) para certos helicópteros modelos AB139 e AW139 da Leonardo S.p.a. Esta AD foi motivada por um relato de fumaça e fogo na cabine de pilotagem. Esta AD requer a inspeção dos chicotes elétricos do teto da cabine dianteira e a instalação, conforme especificado em uma AD da Agência Europeia de Segurança Aviação (EASA), que está incorporada por referência. The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Leonardo S.p.a. Model AB139 and AW139 helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of smoke and fire in the cockpit. This AD requires inspecting the forward cabin roof ceiling harnesses and installation, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference.
